Passing a parameter to shortcut

Hello,
I want to pass a parameter to my application shortcut in the All Programs link.
(Start-> All Programs-> Application folder-> Application.exe )
And to the shortcut in the Start menu (Start-> Application.exe)

I did it from the Files And Folder section and added under Arguments: /myparameter.

After installation, the parameter doesn't exist.
Any idea?

Is that parameter used as a property by you? Can you please send me the aip file and a verbose log created
while installing the package to support at advancedinstaller dot com so I can analyze it.
