Hi Advanced Installer guys:
I havent tryed this intresting product yet but I have some variables that I want you to see:

I have to install OpenOffice in my network enviroment. Here http://www.oooforum.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=606 is an explanation how should I intall both "network-workstation" cause it should be done first as a local, then in each user that logs in tho the machine. In order to do this first I need to install first Install Java JRE.

Question:
I would like to make a big MSI but.....Wich installer should I use? The Advanced or the Java? Cause for the JRE I might need the JAVA but for the OpenOffice setup?

Also:
As you might have seen in the above link, I also have to run some script to acomodate the information after Network installation. Is there a way I can run some script (batch FE) in the middle of each installation in the same MSI?

Hi Jose,

I am not familiar with Open Office and its installation needs. Advanced Installer can bundle a JRE and it will start a Java Product with it, but it will not install a general JRE that can be used by any product. I suggest you experiment a little and see if this suits your needs.
