After uninstall still listed under Programs & Features
After I uninstall the software, the entry in the 'Program and Features' list remains. When I click uninstall from there it throws an error and asks me if I want to remove it from the list. How can I control this better?

Can you reproduce this behavior on multiple clean machines?
This may happen if you used an existing .aip file to build another installation package. Please keep in mind that creating a new project from an already existing one by saving it under a different name is not recommended because all the GUIDs for product, components, etc. in the two projects will be identical and thus will conflict.
So, you should use our “Save As Template...” option if you want to reuse an existing .aip file to build another installation package.
