Installs to ROOT dir?!

Hi,

I am trying out the AdvancedInstaller, which seems to work great.

Of the four machines I tried installing to, seems to always install to
the root directory (C:\) regardless of what you choose.

I believe this a problem with a Windows (2000) system setting...
even the advinst.msi file that I download here installs to c:\ on this
particular machine.

Any ideas where to look for the problem?

I'm off to MS knowledge base in search of solutions, but I thought I'd
ask here first.

Nice product.. I expect to purchase the pro version for Java support
if evrything else checks out.

Hmm, that's a first. Sorry, I don't know why it happens. I suspect there is something going on with Windows Installer there.

Would be interesting to debug it, but as long as it happens only on your machine... it's hard to.

Please let me know if you find out anything.
