Build Error. File Could Not Be Read

Hi - this is my first time using this forum - so please bear with me.

I have searched for this particular problem but as yet have not been able to get a reasonable result from the search as it appears to bring back results with any of the word I search for - not the exact phrase I am looking for. So my apologies if this has already been answered and I have not found it.

I repackaged an existing MSI and added a few files and a service to it.

This was done under the trial version of the application to make sure it would do what I needed to do.

It did, and it worked - albeit with the annoying trial version message - so I purchased Advanced Installer and am now trying to rebuild the package to get rid of the annoying "This product is a Trial Version" message so we can use the MSI package.

I re-opened the project which I built during he trial, hit the build button and am now getting an error:

Creating MSI database... Error. File "<Relative Path To File>" could not be read.

I have checked and the file is definitely there - so can someone offer some assistance as to why it wont read it. I need to build this so I can put it through testing.

Regards

Rod.

Re: Build Error. File Could Not Be Read

Hi Rod,

Since repackaging the application one more time, as we talked over e-mail, fixed this problem I shall consider this thread closed.

Best regards,
