LZMA - do not delete .MSI

Hi,

I have a license to Professional edition of AI, but i plan to upgrade to Enterprise.

Why I can't use "Do not delete files" option in Bootstraper when using LZMA compression?
It is very important option since it is the only way to allow users to "Repair" installation ftom "Add/Remove programs" dialog.

Hi,

It is very important option since it is the only way to allow users to "Repair" installation ftom "Add/Remove programs" dialog.

But this does not hang the repair operation. On repair the EXE is taken from the original location and the files are extracted for repair. The original exe must exist, if not AI will prompt for EXE location. Just like for MSI.

So is no need to left the extracted files behind.
