MySql Server Instance Config Wizard starting problem

Hi,... I am installing MySql 5.0 as Pre-requisite MySql gets installed successfully but MySql Server Instance Config Wizard is not starting automatically, and the result my sql script file shows the Error and the software gets roll back, again i have to manually go into mysql server 5.0 click on MySql Server Instance Config Wizard and after configuring the instance i have to reinstall my application ,
The actual problem is the Screen runs of to install main application files before MySQL Server instance is configured cud u tell me any solution for this problem.
