redirect output stream on MAC?

I have enabled the redirection of Java standard output stream to output.log in the AppDir. I see the output.log file and the contents of the output stream win running on windows, but I don't see it on Mac. Either this function does not work or I don't know where it is being written.

Note, I've selected "Console" Application type (currently).

Currently Advanced Installer does not support this feature.
We will consider including this feature in a future version of AI, but I can't give you an ETA for now.
