How would you suggest that we download a ps1 file and then run it after it has been downloaded?

Hello,
To achieve this you can add a "File Download Operation" in our "Files and Folders" page. Then, you can go in "Custom Actions" page and add a "Run Windows PowerShell Script From File" custom action type, scheduled as deferred after "Install Execution Stage -> Add Resources" action group, which will launch the downloaded PS1 script.
