I'm currently evaluating Advanced Installer Professional. Excellent product, but I have one question: when I upgrading installed product, I always get prompted for destination directory, and value always set to default. Is it possible to detect installation folder of current version and use it without prompting?

Let see... You can remove the dialog from the Dialogs page. And you can add a Custom Action that initializes TARGETDIR from a registry entry or from running an executable.
That should do it. Of course, you'd end up with an install that always tries to pick the previous install dir, which is not what you want when this is a first install.
A condition on the dialog would be needed, but AI doesn't support those yet...
However, the Custom Action idea should work for at least initializing TARGETDIR to the previous install folder.
