Exit dialog closed after readme launch

Postby lguilland » Thu Dec 07, 2017 6:14 pm

Hi,

I have a question. I am currently launching the readme or the app from the exit dialog as part of the finish actions. However, if I select the readme, the exit dialog closes. I would prefer to leave it up after the readme is closed because the user could then launch the app or exit. There is an option to refresh the current dialog, but it still exits. I am wondering what might be the best way to approach this. Make launching the readme a non-finish action? Clone the exit dialog and refresh that? Any input welcome and apologies if this issue has been raised in the past.

Thanks in advance,
Leslie

Hello,

You could implement this scenario by avoiding using our predefined "Finish Actions". Instead you could create two custom action configured to launch the readme file and the application. These custom action should be without sequence. You would need to remove the existing publish event from the "Readme" and "Run" buttons and and create new ones for launching the above custom actions.
