Registry keys

I can't seem to create a registry key for the application. Some of the posts seem to indicate this is not supported. Is this true? What is the Registry entry under Product Definition used for?

Hi,

You can create registry keys using Advanced Installer and this is done from the "Registry" page.

Just use the "Add Key" and "Add Values" toolbar buttons or context menu items to add the desired registry entries.

Sorry, My mistake. The Current User/Local Machine confused me. I read the Current User, which is where I wanted the key to go, and skipped over the Local Machine part which is where the key was inserted. I get it.
