I have seen that digitally signing merge modules is not possible. Am I wrong? Is there any workaround?

Currently this feature is not supported by Advanced Installer. However, I have added it on our TODO list and it will be available in a future version.

Until this feature is implemented the only workaround is to add the files in the merge module to your project. This way you can use the Edit File Dialog to digitally sign a file.

Also a post build event could be used to do the same job (signing merge modules) and would offer much flexibility.
