Hi,
I have an installation project which is used for several (common) products, only the product name will be different. The problem is that the GUID's will stay the same so it's not seen as an new installation.
is there a way to reset/calc all the GUID's in the project if not i would like an option to reset/recalc all the GUID's in the installation so that it really is an new installation.

Hi,
For this you can use the "File" -> "Save as Template" menu in Advanced Installer. This feature allows you to save a template project which can later be used to create other projects. All the settings in the template will be set by default in the new project and all the GUIDs will be regenerated.
