Hi,
it is nice that there is the possibility to set folder permissions in AI, but one there is one thing missing. It is not yet possible to set the checkbox to inherit the permissions. At the moment I solved the problem by using a custom action and the XCacls.vbs from Microsoft, but it would be nice to have the possibility to set this in AI.

Hi,
Please note that the permissions should be inherited. This is explained in the article describing the LockPermissions Table. Therefore, there is no need for an option in Advanced Installer. If the permissions are not inherited, then there might be a problem with them. In this case the solution is to use a custom action.
