Updater always updating but fails.

When we use the updater, even though the current version is installed, it says there are updates available. If it downloads it and then starts the install, it says the Installation Failed. I do not appear to have this issue with other projects, this one is a 64-bit only project. I attached both the main and update project. Any ideas?

As far as I can see, you don't have any updates configured in your updates project - Updates page.

You can check our Using the Updater
article.

You can run the Updater.exe with the following command:

Code: Select all

Updater.exe /set loglevel "Error|Debug"

and forward us the log file and a download for your setup package by email to support at advancedinstaller dot com so we can further test and investigate this.

The log file is named "updater.log" and created in the folder where the updates are downloaded.
