My build pipeline (azure devops) has been down all morning because of the website issues Advanced Installer has been having.
I have a "Advanced Installer Build" step that was hanging on "Downloading: https://www.advancedinstaller.com/downloads/updates.ini". Changing the settings in Advanced Installer to "Do Not check for updates automatically" did not seem to make a difference. (Done under the same user as the azure agent account executing on my self-hosted build machine)
Is there any way to force AI to not check for updates? E.g. cmd line param or regkey

Can you please give us more details about the exact error you are facing with? Do you get any specific error when running your DevOps pipeline? If so, could you share with us the Advanced Installer Build Task log?
Basically if you want our Advanced Installer Build Task to use a certain version of Advanced Installer all you should do is just to make sure you specify it in the "Advanced Installer Tool -> Version" field.
