Error opening file: aijcl.exe

Greetings,

AI is great product. Thanks for the good work. But I'm kind of stuck
right now.

I was running a (registered!) version of AI 2.4.? and then upgraded to 2.5.1.

At the same time I changed versions of Java on my two build systems and now whenI run AI on either the build fails with this error message:

"Creating CAB file(s)... Exception - Reason: Error opening file:
C:\Program Files\Caphyon\Advanced Installer\aijcl.exe."

When I try to execute that file by clicking on C:\Program
Files\Caphyon\Advanced Installer\aijcl.exe I get a Windows error message:

"Java Class Path was not specified in INI file."

I assume this relates to the Java version change, but don't know how to
fix it.

Any help appreciated, thanks!

Hi Oliver,

It is normal to get the message "Java Class Path was not specified in INI file" when you execute "aijcl.exe" directly.
Your build fails because it can't access the "aijcle.exe" file. Make sure that it is not used by another programs and that it is in the "Advanced Installer" directory.

Thanks for the reply.

I fixed the problem by uninstalling AI and reinstalling.

The interesting thing is that this was reproduceable on both of my build systems. aijcle was in the right directory on both and not in use because the problem persisted even after a reboot.

To reproduce:

Upgrade AI from 2.4 to 2.5 and DOWNGRADE sun jdk from 1.5 to 1.4 setting JAVA_HOME to 1.4 jdk jre from 1.5.

Builds will now fail even after a reboot.

Thanks again, keep up the good work!
