Conditional Shortcuts based on MS Access RT Prerequisite

Hi,
I have two different shortcuts (one with arguments and one without) that I want to create depending on whether the MS Access runtime is installed (or will be installed by the installer). I am using the MS Access RT prerequisite and I've also found sections in the help that discusses exactly how to do this but I cannot get to the desired result after following the instructions (http://www.advancedinstaller.com/user-g ... tcuts.html) . At the moment, I have two folders under the desktop folder in "Files and Folders" (where the shortcut should be generated) with the property "install folder content into the parent folder" checked for each folder. Within each folder I have 1 shortcut. In "Organization" I have one component with the shortcut under the Main Feature and the other component under the MS Access RT Feature. I must be missing something simple because regardless of whether the MS AccessRT feature is installed or not, I always get the shortcut for the Main Feature. Is there a better way?
Thanks in advance for your help!
Daniel

Re: Conditional Shortcuts based on MS Access RT Prerequisite

Hello and welcome to Advanced Installer forums,

You should take a look on "Create shortcut based on condition" thread in order to achieve your scenario. Also, you should condition your shortcuts installation using a search, created on our "Search" page, which will check if Microsoft Access Runtime is installed or not on target machine.

If you have any questions let me know.

All the best,
Daniel
