Crash

To reproduce...

1. On the Install Parameters tab with "Default Build" selected, open another project.
2. Select "Msi Build" before the new project has loaded.

Re: Crash

Hello,

Please correct me if I'm wrong. In your Advanced Installer project you have multiple builds defined in the Media page. While opening another project you tried to select another build, from the Builds view in the Install parameters page. I've tested this but I cannot replicate it.

If this is not your case, can you please give us a detailed test case so we can investigate this?

Best regards,
Dan

Re: Crash

No!

1. Be on the Install Parameters tab
2. Have "Default Build" selected in "Install Parameters Tools" on the menu
3. Press Ctrl+O and select another project file.
If you click on Msi build in "Install Parameters Tools" on the menu BEFORE the new project has loaded AI crashes.

It's no big deal! I shouldn't be in such a hurry. But it is 100% reproduceable so you can put it on your fix list!

Hi John,

I'm not sure why you encountered this behavior. I've tested your scenario but I cannot replicate it.
So, can you please send us the related .AIPs (projects file) and a detailed test case to support at advancedinstaller dot com so we can investigate them? If contain confidential information you can send us a small test projects which reproduce this behavior.

Best regards,
Dan

Hello John,

Indeed, this seems to be an Advanced Installer issue. A fix will be available in a future version of Advanced Installer, thank you for bringing it to our attention.

If you have other questions, please let us know.
