Hi,
Today you can either 'stop service' and 'detect a service' as a built-in custom action.
It would be nice if you will add 'stop service' as well.

Please keep in mind that the "Stop service" and "Detect service" custom actions are already available in Advanced Installer and you can find them in the "Custom Actions" page.

Hi Nir,
Maybe you mean a "Start service"custom action which, indeed, is not available in Advanced Installer.
However, you can add a "Launch file" custom action and use the "SC" utility to start your service as suggested in the Start a 64 bit service thread.
Maybe we will consider your suggestion for adding this custom action, but for the moment there are not immediate plans. Thank you for your suggestion.
