On the fly version .msi download feature

Hi I am SAI from India..

I want to know
1> in which program have u compiled or made updater.exe ?
2>If msi offers http & ftp downloads then why create a separate updater.exe ?
3>why on the fly download feature line msimaker (aksdb.com) has not been included. ?
4>in which program have u made the IDE for msi maker ?
5>what do u mean by pure windows installer standards msi creation software ?
6>why the msi files still do not get orca ICE validated ?

Hi,

1. and 4. I'm sorry but this is a Caphyon private information.

2. We consider that this is the best practice for us. The Advanced Updater allows you to download and install new versions of your package. This is a complex task and needs to be done by an external tool. The http & ftp download feature of Windows Installer is not an alternative to the AI Updater. You can read more about the Advanced Updater and how to use it here:

3. I don't quiet understand this, please give me more details.

5. The MSI files created by Advanced Installer respect all the Windows Installer rules and guidances.

6. What ICE validation problems you get? Please give me more details. However we are aware about the ICE45 warnings. Those ICEs are not up to date. Read more about this here:
