Conditional File Copy

Hi,

I need to copy drivers files (I can't install by drivers section because it doesn't work), and I need to copy the drivers files for each SO, or a customiced shortcut for each path in each OS. How can I make a contidional file copy??

Can you please give me more details about this? What problems are you encountering?

You can condition the components of the files in the Organization page. Perhaps this how-to will help you.

Re: Conditional File Copy

If you wish you can try. It's a driver for ultravnc (video driver).

I did a conditional install using exe and Working dir the os (xp or vista). But this driver has a problem with a video driver ati (I has to avoid install it because it causes to video card become mad). Is for that I need to make a shortcut to application folder to install this drivers (also this bat is relatived to driver folder).

It's really hard to explain. Sorry

Hi,

It seems that your drivers use custom install methods. In this case you can use custom actions.

You can try creating a shortcut to an installed file. This shortcut should point to the file which installs the driver and the file should be present on the target machine.
