Error was due to a corrupt installer file which was caused by an incomplete upload to our ftp server.

I'm having the same issue. See http://www.advancedinstaller.com/forums ... =2&t=21610. Did it get fixed by upgrading or is there some other solution?

Some users are getting the following error when launching an 8.7.1 installer build.

Updater failed but really hasn't

I have an updater in place to automatically update the tool. I updated the main version number from 1 to 2 and updated the product name from v1 to v2. After creating and uploading the manifest file, the software automatically updates at launch. So far so good. Now when the update is finished the ...

After uninstall still listed under Programs & Features

After I uninstall the software, the entry in the 'Program and Features' list remains. When I click uninstall from there it throws an error and asks me if I want to remove it from the list. How can I control this better?

Force change install folder upon re-install

My advanced installer build does an uninstall and install of a new version of the software. How do I force to install to a different folder? Changing the paths in the aip does not work.
