Hi
When we run our installation on a live RDP server where users are actively working, the installation becomes extremely slow.
When we check the log, we see many entries of them below.
Could you explain what here is happened and how we can prevent this (without restarting system first).

Updater elevating problem with changed code signing certificate
Hi
We use the updater feature with "Support Service". So users can update without elevating.
Unfortunately this does only work if the code sign certificate of updater is same as the new setup, otherwise uac prompt for elevating is shown.

Hi,
Can you please explain to me why the property REBOOT is setted from ReallySuppress to new value: "Force" (see attached log)
I unfortunately can not find a reason for this.

This unfortunately does not work. I have sent a mail to support@advancedinstaller.com with aip and log.
But I did not receive any answer.

Thanks for the response.
This is unfortunately not a solution for us. Because on normal installation there should this prompt visible.
I am just wondering why even though I set /quiet or /qn any prompt is visible.
This is not a nice behavior in an unattended deployment chain ;-)

How can suppress this restart message at end on a silent installation.
The executing args are /QUIET /norestart /L*V c:\SorbaSetup\21.3.109.log

How can i pass a parameter in commandline and this should persist at the upgrade process?

Thanks for this possibility to solve this problem.
Now I have found the solution. In our automation process we duplicated the aip project and then we build the setup.
Duplicate generates new GUIDs... so the upgrade code was always changed.

I have setted the "Automatically upgrade older product versions" and followed your instructions on the "Upgrades" page.
But unfortunately it does not work.
The "OldProducts"-Property in the Upgrade-Installation is still empty.
