Issue with Surface progress bar

I have just created a new installer using the new surface theme.

The installer will install the product successfully, but when it is on the progress dialogue of the copying files stage the bar goes up a tiny bit, then back to 0% then 1%.
It repeats this process all the way through, but interestingly, the progress bar on the windows tool bar at the bottom is working correctly.

Using Windows 7 x64

When I un-install the software, the progress bar works correctly.

I'm afraid this is a normal Windows Installer behavior. We may improve this behavior in a future version of Advanced Installer, thank you for bringing it to our attention.

Oh no, can't you do it in the next release? or at least give me a temporary fix please
Windows 8 installer style is very important for my work and users are complaining about such bug.

I hope you fix it soon, this theme is super awesome and simple, same UI as Visual Studio 2013 Installer and perfect for Windows 8.

I've discussed with the development team about this improvement and it seems the related issue is caused by Windows Installer. We have added this on our TODO list and will try to investigate the issue and maybe add an improvement in a future version of Advanced Installer. I'm afraid that we cannot offer an ETA for now.

Any updates? This seems like a pretty serious bug. I would like to buy a professional license, but the Surface theme is a very key feature for me.

Thank you for your interest in Advanced Installer.

I've increased the priority for this issue, but I'm afraid that we cannot give you an ETA for now. Thank you for your understanding. However, until then, as a workaround, you can proceed like this:
- Go to Dialogs page and select the "ProgressDlg" dialog from "First Time Install" tree node.
- Select the progress bar control and edit its subscribed event like this:

• Subscribe To: Display overall installation progress (enhanced UI only)
  Attribute to set: Progress

- Build and run your project.

the problem also happens if you use Styled Progress in surface theme ProgressDlg,
but another workaround I found is to use simple progressbar instead of Surface progess or Styled progress.

anyway we still wait for a fix

Is there any resolution to this issue?

It still happens on 10.9

Not a very good UI, the progress bar should just go from left to right, and not jump back and forth.
