On September 2nd, 2026 Caphyon Ltd. is proud to announce the release of Advanced Installer 24.0 in Free, Professional, Enterprise and Architect editions. This release is available for download on the Advanced Installer website.
Advanced Installer 24.0 is the biggest release of 2026. This version brings you major new features and improvements, standing on over 20 years of application packaging experience.

- Predefined custom action: Copy the installer log to a user-accessible folder

- Error when creating registry files while building certain MSIX packages
- Duplicate manifest validation errors in MSIX packages
- Failure to build imported MSIX packages
- Crash when saving imported MSIX packages
- Silent build failure when an MSI project contains a sparse package
- Copy to User Profile creating folders in the wrong location for predefined directories such as Application Data and Local Application Data
- Copy to User Profile: not copying files when a predefined folder under the user profile is set as the source Installer UI and behavior
- Installer closing when the "could not access network location" warning is cancelled with the AppInstaller theme
- Package upgrades showing no dialogs when the AppInstaller theme is used
- Custom SignTool path and command line being discarded when switching between Built-in and Custom
- Invalid character error when using a property in the IIS binding Host Name field, a regression since 23.2
