Set Merge Module Version Command Option

Command Syntax

/SetVersion { <version_string> | -fromfile <file_path> | -increment }

This command will set the Module Version. Its equivalent UI option is the “Module Version” field from the Merge Module Details page.

You have the possibility to specify the version through a versioned file. Instead of the version string, enter the path of the file which version will be used and add the -fromfile option.

The specified file must have a version.

Also, you can increment the existing module version by using the -increment parameter.

Example:

AdvancedInstaller.com /edit MyProject.aip
    /SetVersion 1.2
